Back to Fundraising for the Future
Last year, we reached out at a critical time. The choices we made through the pandemic to put the health and safety of our clients and staff before any other consideration had depleted our reserves as we struggled toward a planned rate increase. You came through for us and we are very grateful.
We are also grateful that this year, the purpose of our fundraising can return to a focus on the future. Since last year's campaign began, we've been able to raise the median wage for caregivers by more than 15%. We have begun refilling our caseloads. Finances are still tight and hiring remains a challenge, but we are recovering and we got here with your help.
In normal times and this year, we fundraise so that when a crisis hits or needs can't be met through traditional funding, we are ready. We saw how that worked and how important it was through the pandemic. We'll be very grateful for your gift this year, whether in currency or good wishes.
